Sovereign Room

CPD hours will be awarded for this workshop

Session Overview

Explore what's working. Challenge what's not. Leave with ideas you can use on Monday.

The best ideas in financial advice don't always come from the stage—they come from advisers solving real problems every day.

Following the opening plenary, Mic Drop: The Ideas Exchange brings the Congress theme of “Explore” to life in a fast-paced, highly interactive workshop designed to tap into the collective wisdom of the room.

This two-hour facilitated workshop focuses on practical insights across advice pricing, client selection, client experience, process efficiency and capacity. Using client case studies, live pricing discussions, and guided table discussions, you'll examine how firms are structuring and communicating value, improving turnaround times, leveraging technology and AI, and creating the capacity to serve more clients without compromising quality.

From pricing and specialisation to workflow optimisation, talent, intergenerational wealth and practice productivity, the session centres on one simple question: What's actually working in practice?

Expect lively discussion, diverse perspectives, and plenty of opportunities to learn from advisers facing the same opportunities and challenges. Together, you'll uncover practical strategies, compare approaches, challenge assumptions, and surface the ideas delivering real results in advice businesses today.

The workshop concludes by bringing the insights from across the room together—highlighting practical ways firms are improving profitability, enhancing client experiences, and building sustainable capacity for growth.

You'll leave with fresh thinking, proven ideas drawn directly from peers, and new connections to continue the conversation long after Congress ends...because sometimes the most valuable expert in the room is sitting at your table.
